Celebrating Me in the Storms

Good Day, Beautiful People!

To all my followers, thanks for being patient with my updates. I have been sailing on high gale and furious stormy sea into deep and unknown for awhile.

Do you have one of those crazy times on your life that all stuff that are going on around you that going south or the uncharted road and feel like the invisible weight and burden is so unbearable!  In other words, the massive storms that seemingly unavoidable and keep coming at you. The worst part is you got hit more directions than one. All you do is like a fireman keep putting out fire in different areas all the time. The skepticism can built up as well as doubt the storms will ever cease.

All you can do is look up and gaze at the zillions sparkling bright stars sigh along with slow deep breathe. You may feel tired, overwhelmed, defeated, down, crush or drowning in the storms of life that is not created by you. Even wondering why this is happening to you?  The reality is bad things happen to good and bad people. The sun shines on the good and bad people. The rain and storms don’t discriminate the good and bad people. It may sounds crazy to some, spiritually, your future is so bright that the enemy want to come, kill and destroy now before you become uncontainable. So the only way I know is to be brave and courageous and keep fighting till I get my victory. Pause, rest and restore but never quit!

3 surgeries in less than 3 years does take a toll to the body.  Road to recovery is not as fast as I thought it will be.  The bright side to this was celebrating my Birthday in the hospital for the first time.

God’s Not Dead

IMG_3376.JPG

Good Day, Beautiful People!
I recently went to see the movie God’s not dead. God’s Not Dead is a 2014 Christian drama film directed by Harold Cronk, and stars Kevin Sorbo, Shane Harper, David A. R. White and Dean Cain. The film was released to theaters on March 21, 2014, by Pure Flix Entertainment. I know in the States it was released early 2014. In the South, we just have that showing on the big screen. Forget about all the aweful reviews critics give for this movie. Any good christian’s movie will be hated by the world critics full stop! Show me one world critic that mention any good review for any christian’s movie. That itself will be a miracle. Just do yourself a favour, go and watch with your loved ones, family and friends. If you’re brave enough to invite unbelievers for this movie. Get the dvd, if you miss it. On the whole, this is a light, clean, fun, drama, feel good movie with no violence, no sexual references, no foul language and not much offensive behaviour.

Love the plot, the debates between the professor and the first year freshman. How brave is the muslim girl that stand up for her new faith, being thrown out of her home and disowned by her father. Of course, the Duck Dynasty fans will be happy to see them. I was informed they’re great, down to earth and successful reality show in US. One of my favourite moment is the feature Newsboys’ concert and the theme song, God’s not dead. I’m not going to give away the plot too much in case you have not see the movie yet. The reality of life is full of up and down, it is not bias. It does not care if you are a believer or atheist. You can choose to face challenges by yourself or believe there is a God out there to watch over you when you are thown into situation bigger than you can handle.

At last I found one fair and good review of this movie.

Well, if you’re atheist, happen to stumble on this blog, have some respect, simply move on and have a nice life. I’m not interested in your opinions or start a debate with you.

Honestly, love to hear from you, my followers, if you’ve seen this movie. Give me some feedback.
Below is the movie trailer:

Rest [MF]

Good Day, Beautiful People!
Nothing is permanent in this world. The only constant things are God’s Love and changes.
Those of us who travel on this life journey for awhile bound to experience good and bad seasons. Some days in life seem more challenging than other days. You just need to take it as it comes. One day at a time. Even your feeling right now is temporary. So don’t let your feeling run your life. Enjoy the the good with the bad. Be thankful for the good times and challenging times. We learn valuable lesson during challenging time. We can choose to curl up like a ball and hide or choose to put on your spiritual armor, pick up your spiritual weapon and fight. Let your village of people who love you know to give you the support you need.
Adopt a good attitude, positive thinking and good opinion of God. Most brave people I encounter overcome challenging storms through this way has amazing great outcome. You can experience joy right here in the midst of real and even raw life.

Joy is neither the absence of pain,
nor the presence of denial.
It is discovered when you and I
Allows our minds and spirits to be
Saturated with the truth that
God is near us,
With the miracle that He walks beside us. – Alicia Britt Chole

If you have to fight the battle, fight courageously.
If you have to walk through it, walk boldly.
If you have to stand on guard, stand equipped.
If you have to sit and watch, sit patiently.
If you have to rest at a standstill, rest peacefully.
-Angela S Chua

Below is another touching poem REST from my creative mate, Melinda Fletcher.
My soul will rest in You alone
My soul will rest in You alone
In the shadow of your wings
It’s there you will hear me sing
My soul will rest in You alone

My heart will trust in you alone
My heart will trust in you alone
Nothing will I fear
as long as you are near
My God I will trust in you alone

My hope is in Your word alone
My hope is in Your word alone
My hiding place and shield
In your presence where I’m healed
My hope is in Your word alone

You Said – Song/Poem [MF]

20140515-234923.jpg
Good Day, Beautiful People!
Without fail, I am giving you another taste of my gifted friend, Melinda Fletcher’s wonderful creation. Did I forget to mention previously, this girl can sing too. Imagine we all have a gathering, enjoying a pleasant conversation around the table, on spur of moment, she will burst out a divine song that she wrote. This is one of them. You cannot request for it but you have to wait for it to happen. I wish I was fast enough to video it each time. Most time, I was too captivated by the songs and the singing. Well, I hope one day she will have it all recorded on a delightful CD and compile into a marvelous book. Nevertheless, you get to enjoy this moving poem.

YOU SAID

You said you are my Saviour

You came to rescue me

And all I have to do is love you

To live eternally

You said you were my healer

You took all my disease

And all I have to do is love you

And choose to believe

You said you are my helper

You said you’d make a way

That all I have to do is love you

And not to be afraid

You said you are provider

You said you’d meet my needs

That all I have to do is love you

And sit at your feet

You said you were my teacher

You said you’d guide me through

That all I have to do is love you

And love you, Yes I do

And love you, Yes I do.

The Fruit Tree [MF]

Good Day, Beautiful People!
Sharing this beautiful Song/Poem by my talented mate, Melinda Fletcher.

THE FRUIT TREE

From the outside to the inside

The world is looking in

But from the inside to the outside

God is working from within

And when it seems like nothing’s happening

Just think about the tree

It is planted in the soil

Where its growing from a seed

With some sunlight and some water

The tree begins to grow

And before long with no effort

the fruit begins to show

From the outside to the inside

The world is looking in

And from the fruit that’s on the outside

They will see Jesus within
