I Declare [2]

Sharing this beautiful poem written by my uniquely creative friend, Melinda Fletcher.
“I must declare the promises
To overcome the doubt
For fear and worry have no power
When I speak them out

I must declare your word out loud
Despite all that I see
For natural circumstances
Try to take my eyes off thee
I must sing out your praises Lord
In everything I do
You already have my answers Lord
In everything you do

And even if I am overwhelmed
By the wind and all the waves
I know that you will rescue me
Through your amazing grace
I’d like not to go through the fire
But even if I do
In your love and faithfulness
You’ll carry me right through

I must stay within your presence lord
Abide within your word
Surround myself with worship
And believe all that I’ve heard

For you promised to be faithful God
Despite how bad I feel
Help me to be faithful lord
To rest and to be still

Help me to trust in you!!!

He will give you faith to remove it
Or grace to go through it
He is True to his word and loves you
Run to Him not from Him!!!
Believe Him. Now is your chance!
Rise to the challenge of faith despite sight!!!!”
