Good Day, Beautiful People!
Yes, finally the wait is over! The latest Hillsong Album “No Other Name” is out now! Loving all songs especially the key song, No Other Name!
On Other Name
One Name,
Holds the weight above them all
His fame, outlasts the earth He formed
His praise, resounds beyond the stars
And echoes in our hearts
The greatest one of all
His face, shines brighter than the sun
His grace, as boundless as his love
He reigns, with healing in his wings
The King above all kings
The greatest one of all
Lift up our eyes to see The King has come
Light of the world, reaching out for us
There is no other name
There is no other name
Jesus Christ our God
Seated on high, the undefeated one
Mountains bow down as we lift Him up
There is no other name
There is no other name
Jesus Christ our God
Lift up our eyes to see The King has come
Light of the world reaching out for us
There is no other name
There is no other name
Jesus Christ our God
Seated on high, the undefeated one
Mountains bow down as we lift Him up
There is no other name
There is no other name
Jesus Christ our God
Find hope, when all the world seems lost
Behold the triumph of the cross
His power, has trampled death and grief
Our life found in his name
The greatest name of all
The earth will shake, and tremble before Him
Chains will break as heaven and earth sings
Holy is the name
Holy is the name of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
Below is the song sharing from utube, but is not official version. Nevertheless, soak in, ENJOY the worship! Be blessed!
This is with the Lyrics:
Good day, Beautiful friends! Is my pleasure to share with you one of my favourite songs from Hillsong Worship’s latest album “NO OTHER NAME” this week. Stay tune for the official Utube update for this song.
All these pieces
Broken and scattered
In mercy gathered
Mended and whole
Empty handed
But not forsaken
I’ve been set free
Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That save a wretch like me
I once was lost
But now I am found
Was blind but now I see
Oh I can see You now
Oh I can see the love in Your eyes
Laying Yourself down
Raising up the broken to life
You take our failure
You take our weakness
You set your treasure
In jar of clay
So take this heart Lord
I’ll be your vessel
The world to see Your life in me.
Isn’t this illustration amazing! Not only did Abba Daddy patches our brokenness with gold or silver. The restoration is way better than original.
Good Day, Beautiful People!
I have been wanting to share with you my obsession with NO OTHER NAME, light and attraction to this magificient city that I fell in love with as long as I could remember. As a travel bug, I fell in love in many cities and countries. Nevertheless, Qantas’ slogan spells my heart out ” I still call Australia Home.” Furthermore, the song simply beckons me back.
Enjoy some of my crazy snaps during Vivid Festival 2014 in this fascinating Sydney.
Below are a few quotes I mull over when I am gazing at my photos.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. –Martin Luther King Jr., A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches
I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars. – Og Mandino
We have to confront ourselves. Do we like what we see in the mirror? And, according to our light, according to our understanding, according to our courage, we will have to say yea or nay – and rise! -Maya Angelou
Leaving you with the Living Word:
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. -John1:5
Good Day, Beautiful People!
This is a sneak peek of one of the many new songs lyrics I love in the latest No Other Name album that is going to be released on 27th June 2014. Personally, I think is going to be off the chart. It portrays the undescribable love. The best love story ever told! My head seems like a broken recorder, keep repeating this song for the past week till now. Stay tune, I will update the official utube link later.
According to my Honey favourite saying, “some days you are the bird, some days you are the statue.” I say to myself ‘bull’s eye.” Some days in life are just more challenging than others. You wish you can just finish the day quickly, go to sleep. Hopefully, wake up to see issue resolve, witness a miracle and enjoy many more good days. As we know it does not always happen that way. Sometimes we need to go through the fire for character building. Ouch, sound so painful. Nobody like receiving dreadful news, lousy health report, financial crisis, job loss, loss of an significant account, business closure, bankruptcy, homeless, lose someone significant, betrayal, misunderstanding, death of loved ones, abusive boss, unreasonable partner, never ending meetings, mountain of paperwork from office to tackle, conflicts with colleagues or associates, demanding clients, heated debates with spouse and family members, endless home management, networking and other far too many commitment. Out of sudden, life may seem spun out of control.
The important thing is knowing WHO is still in control, the great “I AM”. Just tell yourself to stop whatever you are doing for a minute and get your composure. Simply focus on breathing deeply. Inhale Jesus love and exhale enemy stress, repeat. Count to Ten slowly before you response to whatever crisis. A good reminder from pastor Bobbie Houston, “Eat, sleep, pray and repeat. Eat, sleep, pray and repeat. Eat, sleep, pray and repeat.” Of course, talk to someone you trust or call a hotline near you to unload. Listen to good music, songs and starts to praise and worship God in advance for your good outcome or miracle.
If you are feeling a bit under the weather, or facing overwhelming situation, just pause and listen to this heart rending song, You make me brave by Bethel Music. Soak in, let it ministers to your inner being.
I stand before You now The greatness of your renown I have heard of the majesty and wonder of you King of Heaven, in humility, I bow
CHORUS: As Your love, in wave after wave Crashes over me, crashes over me For You are for us You are not against us Champion of Heaven You made a way for all to enter in
VERSE 2: I have heard You calling my name I have heard the song of love that You sing So I will let You draw me out beyond the shore Into Your grace Into Your grace
BRIDGE: You make me brave You make me brave You call me out beyond the shore into the waves You make me brave You make me brave No fear can hinder now the love that made a way
You make me brave You make me brave You call me out beyond the shore into the waves You make me brave You make me brave No fear can hinder now the promises you made
I leave you with the Living Word to ponder, “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.” Joshua1:6 (NLT)
Good Day, Beautiful People!
Last month, my working sisterhood connect organised http://www.thea21campaign.org/index.php the A21 Campaign fundraising movie event. The ladies choice was http://momsnightoutmovie.com/ Moms’ Night Out. I pitched in to coodinate and rally the ladies out for fun and doing good deed at the same time. We are so stoked that we raised A$314 for the night. Honestly, is an excellent, heartwarming, entertaining comedy with a compelling message for single and family to watch. Seriously, you don’t have to be a mom to enjoy this movie. I am not a mom and I utterly love this movie. Personally, I don’t know why this movie has received many critics and bad reviews. I still don’t quite get it. Perhaps the saying is truth,”haters gonna hate, no matter you are doing good or bad. They still have something to say.”
Below are some good endorsement from some high profile people.
“I love this movie! I wish I could treat every mom to a bucket of popcorn just to watch her laugh.” Beth Moore, teacher and author

Michael W. Smith, Grammy-Award Winning Singer / Songwriter
“I saw Moms’ Night Out with my friends and we started laughing during the opening credits. This movie is hilariously funny from beginning to end! Yet, there’s also a message of hope and love that’s encouraging and uplifting. (And men will too!)” Stacy Burnett, Director of Communications, Gateway Church
“MOMS’ NIGHT OUT is laugh-out-loud funny for Moms AND Dads and yet completely kid-friendly. It’s the perfect representation of the ‘Beautiful Mess’ of family life with kids.” Sherry Surratt, CEO, MOPS International
“Motherhood might just be the highest calling on the planet. Moms, that’s why it’s important for you to take some time for yourselves to be celebrated. Grab your husbands, grab your friends, and go see Moms’ Night Out, a family comedy you are going to love!” Dave Ramsey
“Moms’ Night Out is a fun movie with a powerful message. You don’t have to be perfect to be a good mom (or dad). You can’t resign from being a parent; so you may as well enjoy the journey. True-to-life comedy at its best.” Gary Chapman, Ph.D., Author, The Five Love Languages
“Moms’ Night Out will make mothers everywhere laugh, cry, and remember that their work is hard not because they’re doing it wrong—but because mothering is HERO’S work! Grab your girls, a sitter, and treat yourself to this gift! You’ll leave refreshed, full of hope, and ready to jump back into battle!” Glennon Doyle Melton, Author of New York Times bestseller Carry On, Warrior; Founder, Momastery.com
“I’m thrilled to have my song featured in Moms’ Night Out. As a mom I can totally relate to this film, and I think every mom will feel like their life is being played out on the screen. It’s hilarious and heartwarming and a quality film that the whole family can enjoy together.” Natalie Grant, Recording Artist
“Moms’ Night Out is the type of film we wish there were more of: fun and funny for the whole family, touching and sweet, with a simple reminder of God’s love for us. This isn’t just a Moms Night Out — this is a date night and family night all rolled into one.” Gary Smalley, Bestselling Author and Speaker
“Moms’ Night Out is not only an incredibly funny and relatable film for moms, but SURPRISE: it’s a movie that the whole family will still be laughing about and quoting long after seeing it. Count our family in for a Family Movie Night on Mother’s Day weekend.” Pastors Matthew and Caroline Barnett, The Dream Center and Angelus Temple, Los Angeles
“Moms’ Night Out is a game changer. I laughed out loud so many times, fell in love with the characters, saw myself in their real-life situations, and wept at how the film spoke directly to my heart. This is a must-see for every mom and just a fantastic, feel-good family comedy. We loved it so much!!!” Francesca Battistelli, Recording Artist
“Moms’ Night Out was laugh-out-loud funny and yet a very sweet story that every person in any family (moms, dads and kids) can relate to. It’s fun to watch from beginning to end and something you never see in a comedy anymore: it’s clean and safe for all ages!”
Jackie Garner, Women’s Ministry Director, Lakewood Church
“Moms’ Night Out is funny, heart-warming, and not just for moms. Head to the theater with your friends, your husband, your young kids, your teens, your parents—and be prepared to laugh ’til you cry! No need to worry about awkward scenes, questionable language or innuendo—just funny, real-life comedy. Don’t miss it!” Brenda Bayliss, National Program Manager, American Heritage Girls
“I alternated between snort-laughing out loud and soft, silly sobs while watching this larger than life portrait of the fun, craziness, and beauty of the vocation of motherhood. The film entertains, but also enlightens, on the true value of every mom’s work and worth. A great film for the whole family!” Lisa Hendey, Founder, CatholicMom.com
“When a movie cracks you up, gives you a keener view on your wife’s gnarly job as a mom, and helps you celebrate your family, that’s a great date night with your wife. Go with another couple and multiply the laughs.”
Jeff Kemp, Former NFL Quarterback, Vice President Family Life
“We laughed from the beginning to the end.” Mike Young, President and Founder, Noble Warriors
“Moms’ Night Out honors women—and in particular mothers—like no other film I’ve seen. It doesn’t paint a glossy picture of motherhood, but it shows moms for who they are: The unsung heroes of our day who sacrifice so much to shape the next generation.”
Patrick Novecosky, Editor of Legatus magazine
“A powerful and humorous look inside the everyday family. One that makes you stand and applaud women everywhere who embrace the role of ‘Mommy’!” Joe Pellegrino, President, Legacy Minded Men
Well, if you haven’t seen it on the big screen, get the DVD or rent the DVD to enjoy with family and friends.
Good Day, Beautiful People!
Sharing with you today one of my favourite songs since 2013, Oceans (Where Feet may fail) by Hillsong United in album Zion. The music is written by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston & Salomon Ligthelm. Taya Smith is the worship leader. It is honestly a beautiful, meaningful, moving and timeless worship song. It is a song that touches multitude according to the news. This song “”Oceans” cracks the longest reign on Billboard’s airplay/sales/streaming-based Hot Christian Songs chart as they marked their 24th week at the top. This shatters the record that has been in place since 2003 with MercyMe’s “Word of God Speak.”” -Urban Christian News. It does not matter if you are first time listener or this is already one of your personal choice songs, let us enjoy this song together now. Selah, pause and get closer to God.
You call me out upon the waters The great unknown where feet may fail And there I find You in the mystery In oceans deep My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name And keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise My soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours and You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters Your sovereign hand Will be my guide Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me You’ve never failed and You won’t start now
So I will call upon Your name And keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise My soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours and You are mine
[6x] Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior
I will call upon Your name Keep my eyes above the waves My soul will rest in Your embrace I am Yours and You are mine
May 28 2014, the world has lost a legendary poet, author, teacher and warrior of peace, equality and tolerence, Dr Maya Angelou. Heaven gains a great heroine. Her writing has inspired and encouraged multitude in America and around the world. Even though she led a kaleidoscopic life, her writings was so soulful, sensible and pragmatic. Good night, Dr Maya Angelou. You will always live in our hearts. One day, we will meet in heaven.
In case for some reason you are not familiar with her handiwork, you are in for more than just a treat. It is encouraging, empowering, powerful and life changing. Sharing some of my all time favourites, Dr Maya Angelou’s poems.
Still I Rise
You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may tread me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I’ll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? ‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I’ll rise.
Did you want to see me broken? Bowed head and lowered eyes? Shoulders falling down like teardrops. Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you? Don’t you take it awful hard ‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines Diggin’ in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words, You may cut me with your eyes, You may kill me with your hatefulness, But still, like air, I’ll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you? Does it come as a surprise That I dance like I’ve got diamonds At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history’s shame I rise Up from a past that’s rooted in pain I rise I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide, Welling and swelling I bear in the tide. Leaving behind nights of terror and fear I rise Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear I rise Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave. I rise I rise I rise.
Touched by Angel
We, unaccustomed to courage exiles from delight live coiled in shells of loneliness until love leaves its high holy temple and comes into our sight to liberate us into life.Love arrives and in its train come ecstasies old memories of pleasure ancient histories of pain. Yet if we are bold, love strikes away the chains of fear from our souls. We are weaned from our timidity In the flush of love’s light we dare be brave And suddenly we see that love costs all we are and will ever be. Yet it is only love which sets us free.
Phenomenal Woman
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size But when I start to tell them, They think I’m telling lies. I say, It’s in the reach of my arms The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I’m a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That’s me.
I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees. I say, It’s the fire in my eyes, And the flash of my teeth, The swing in my waist, And the joy in my feet. I’m a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That’s me.
Men themselves have wondered What they see in me. They try so much But they can’t touch My inner mystery. When I try to show them They say they still can’t see. I say, It’s in the arch of my back, The sun of my smile, The ride of my breasts, The grace of my style. I’m a woman
Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That’s me.
Now you understand Just why my head’s not bowed. I don’t shout or jump about Or have to talk real loud. When you see me passing It ought to make you proud. I say, It’s in the click of my heels, The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand, The need of my care, ‘Cause I’m a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That’s me.
I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
The free bird leaps on the back of the wind and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wings in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky.
But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings with fearful trill of the things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom
The free bird thinks of another breeze and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the sky his own.
But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing
The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.
Below is a significant teeny portion of Dr Maya Angelou interview with Oprah Winfrey.
I will leave you with her last profound tweet, ” Listen to yourself and in that quietude you might hear the voice of God.” It is still resounding in my heart.
