We savour every moment. Time is precious. Redeem the time.
If there are wasted years, don’t regret them.
The days out there in the world will get more and more dark but we can see good days!
Every ministry will have their theme.
The theme of the year is important.
It shows that you have been doing your homework seeking the Lord. God gives us a theme, so that when it happens, you know God has given.
Before it happens, the theme in your heart and mind, you know it is the Lord.
When God does things for us and don’t tell us beforehand and when we experience something good, we may not see is Him.
Expression that glorify the Lord, stop and know is the Lord.
Think of people beyond our family.
Is ok to go for gym, but our lives become a life that is so insulin. God’s way is to seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.
He that loses his life for My sake, you will gain it. If you lose your energy for serving, He will multiple energy to you.
You cannot over prioritise your family, u will lose it
You lose your life for His sake, u will find it!
Hesed. Hesed is a word that will be used more and more.
The law was given by Moses and grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
His hesed endures forever.
God is good. His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 136
Hesed is when we don’t deserve it and we are still blessed with it. Is unearned undeserved favour. Hesed is grace. Unearned favour!
We get acceptance from God rather than rejection.
We deserve hell, but we got heaven.
The more spoilt we are, the more we have a sense of entitlement. We got to cast down this pride.
Hesed flows down. Hesed goes to the humble.
Humility is the condition to receive it.
When u think u deserve it u don’t get it.
Hesed belongs to the humble. This year the Lord will release hesed into your life.
Praise the Lord. His mercy endures forever.
This year when u see God overturns evil power, is because of His grace.
God is showing Israel mercy.
How can plaques be associated? Without the plaques it won’t bring Pharaoh to say is His mercy.
Jesus, there are 3 Accounts.
1. A person just died. Jesus raised her from the dead
2. Within a day, the man died and Jesus raised the person from the dead
3. This person died for 4 days and Jesus raised him from the dead.
We do not deserve any of the blessing but we get it because of Jesus’ blessing.
Hesed is unearned undeserved favour.
Every time you put your trust in God’s hesed, grace, God gives you the victory.
2018 our eyes are upon You
God can turn your valley of trouble into valley of blessing.
God is good for His mercy endures forever.
Every time you put your trust in His hesed, you have quality because you don’t deserve it.
King Solomon is a trillion-aire
1 Kings 3:4-10
Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”
And Solomon said: “You have shown great mercy (hesed gadol) to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”
The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
Solomon was conscious of hesed gadol
You want to see grace, look at Jesus
Grace is attracted to your weakness. Your weakness is your qualification for God’s grace.
Grace flows
Grow in the Lord. Be patient with yourself.
If there is no weakness in your life, God’s grace cannot strive.
Solomon has this great revelation of great power and great grace
Great grace was upon them ALL
With great grace come great power.
The Word of God always goes to the root.
Great grace for all!
Proverbs 9:1
Wisdom has built her house,
She has hewn out her seven pillars;
You need to know 7 things and other sets of 7 from the new.
The understanding you have for world events.
God does the 7 to use His mark.
7 men full of Holy Spirit
7 is completion and perfection
The Year of Hesed Wisdom
The word make up the year will make up the cross.
Hesed open up the door to preach grace.
What you need this year, there is hesed (grace) in wisdom and God is going to give you the wisdom of grace.
The riches of His grace brought forth this.
Wisdom is the principle thing
In the beginning, God created. Beginning is the first word.
God wants us to prioritise wisdom and make it the first thing in our lives.
Wisdom is gentle, beautiful. Someone u want to hold and cherish.
She will bring u honor when u embrace her.
A crown of glory she will deliver to u
As a boy he went to church. He saw people come into the church. He saw something in them. There was a glory on them. That impacted the boy.
Pastor also went to church when he was a small boy. He heard Silent Night and he felt the glory
Glory is what you are when u step into the room.
Proverbs 3:13-17
Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding;
For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And her gain than fine gold.
She is more precious than rubies,
And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.
Length of days is in her right hand,
In her left hand riches and honor.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her paths are peace.
Wisdom does bring in even financial success.
Wisdom is better.
God made Solomon very wealthy.
Length of days (long life) -> right hand
– Includes health
Riches and honour (heavy weight) -> left hand
– Success that Jesus gives you
Pleasure
My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Maybe you are not called for this, someone else is called for this. Let go
1. Long life
2. Riches
3. Honour
4. Pleasure
5. Peace
Found in the 2 hands
Wisdom is the principle thing
When u embrace a woman u get her two hands
U get length of days, long life
This wisdom is not fleshly wisdom
2 Corinthians 1:12
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.
Worldly wisdom is pride.
The king also had wisdom
Every good and perfect gift is from God
God gives wisdom.
Good is for the world, perfect is for believers
James 3:13-18
Heavenly Versus Demonic Wisdom
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Gentle and easy to be entreated
U can have fame, good looking, million of people following u, but yet commit suicide. This happen to celebrity a lot.
Depression does not go away. Many rich and famous are on drugs
This is not wisdom.
Pastor saw a doctor smoking.
U can be good in your field, but there is no wisdom.
Don’t waste time this year.
The Bible said teach us to number our days. Don’t waste time.
Solomon said give him wisdom.
Wisdom is portray in Solomon.
Understanding hesed give us wisdom and we will have gentleness in our hearts
If u r proud there is nothing to teach u
God is so wise, He has great wisdom but He will not give to the proud.
Redeem the time
Ephesians 5:15-17
Walk in Wisdom
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Hear God’s voice talking to us through Pastor’s voice.
Solomon asked God for Hearing heart
Wisdom will help us redeem the time.
Receive fresh wisdom
A hearing heart
Wisdom is always about the heart.
See the heart.
There is no witness, but see the heart
1. Voice of flesh
2. Voice of affection
3. Voice of wisdom
God is the same yesterday today and forever
Pray this –
1 Kings 3:9
Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”
Wise and understanding heart
With wisdom come riches honour pleasure peace
The riches man in history. U will find Solomon’s name come out
All his drinking vessel made from gold
The temple of Solomon he built, it was over $15 billion!
All he did was ask God for wisdom
Whatever your result are, it does not deprive you from good life.
Educate come from the word to bring out.
God can give you wisdom.
God want to build the temple of Jesus Christ, your life, your body!
God created cows to eat grass and man to eat meat.
As far as possible don’t take drugs. They are still man-made. But if u r sick, go for it but don’t depend on those things.
Wisdom! God will help you.
God can speak to u in a dream. Devil also can. Bad dream not from God
1 Kings 4:29-34
And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore. Thus Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the men of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men—than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations. He spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were one thousand and five. Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish. And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon.
God gave wisdom. Not cultivated.
God gave!
Largeness of heart
The reason we see is because God has given us wisdom
Wisdom is the first thing.
Learn how not to be self-occupied, but be Christ-occupied
Solomon’s wisdom excel them all and all the wisdom of Egypt
God tells u why the animals were created. The eagle is one animal that strive on currents. He just soar. We can learn from animal kingdom
The spider is found in the king’s palace.
It is found in every house, rich and poor
Book of Proverbs
The book of proverbs prepare us for the day
Proverbs 8:34-36
Blessed is the man who listens to me,
Watching daily at my gates,
Waiting at the posts of my doors.
For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord;
But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;
All those who hate me love death.”
The Way of Wisdom
God wants us to have life, long life!
The wisdom is there in Proverbs!
Proverbs 25:15-17
By long forbearance a ruler is persuaded,
And a gentle tongue breaks a bone.
Have you found honey?
Eat only as much as you need,
Lest you be filled with it and vomit.
Seldom set foot in your neighbor’s house,
Lest he become weary of you and hate you.
The words that light up at you, meditate on it.
Everyday open up, there is chapter for the day
The wisdom will give you, prepare you before the thing happen.
Come to the pillar of wisdom, ask God for wisdom.
Read devotion and the Book of Proverbs. There is a light that will shine and read to you.
Jesus increased in wisdom and in favour
Luke 2:52
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
1 Corinthians 1:30
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—
Is imperfect people praying for imperfect people that get result. This is undeserved.
Glory is better than beauty.
Glory is different. A woman who fear the Lord she shall be praised.
Pray for wisdom and hearing heart.
Hear truth that will set us free!
