Good Day, Beautiful People! Happy, joyous, healthy and prosperous new year in all area of your life.

So blessed to usher the new year, a new decade in the most beautiful city in the world with lovely and wonderful friends!

Abba Dad in Heaven, is going to a new thing, a new season, new decade, bringing dry and deserted wasteland to life. (Isaiah 43:19) He is breathing freshness, newness, renewing and restoring you and things around you. A change, a shift has started. Sense of 3 Rs taking place: Reset, Restitutions and Restoration will take place for many who had suffered deeply in many area of your life. Be ready to process your promise land, no more living in wilderness. Just declare and prepare for it.

He has equipped you with the full armour for the road ahead. (Ephesians 6:10-20) Stay focus with the visions and dreams He put in your heart. (Habakuk 2:2)

May His wisdom guide you in this new decade.

Beautiful People, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope you had a blessed Christmas. 2017 is fleeting. I was reminded it is a jubilee year.

How did 2017 treating you? Great, amazing year or challenging year? For many it maybe the case. Happy for you.

I thought 2015 & 2016 was challenging enough! 2017 takes the cake. 2017 is a year I want to forget, been to hell and back. The fact that I’m still standing and smiling doesn’t mean everything is rosy. It means I’m a good fighter, a warrior that never give up. I still believe we can end the year with a high note. Without doubt, challenges make us more robust and relentless. Is not cliches that what did not kill you, make you stronger. Keep smiling tell the enemy to go to hell where he belongs. “When you do the right thing when it’s hard, you’re going to reap blessings, favor, increase, and not just eternal life, but abundant life here on this earth.” – Joel Osteen

Beautiful People hope you had a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year! 

Thanks for being patient with my posting. I took another sabbatical break from writing as there are too many things need my attention. 2016 was another challenging year in many aspect: health, work, finance, ministry and grief over 2 deaths. Thank God for His protecton, grace and mercy; I’m still standing tall manage to end 2016 with a bang.

You may have read this before or for the first time. I’m sharing this with you as we enter a new year:

WELCOME TO 2017

The number 17 symbolizes “Overcoming the enemy”  and “Complete victory”.
In this year 2017, you will be an overcomer.
In this year 2017, you will be victorious.

As in Genesis 20:17, Abraham prayed and God healed Abimelech…. You will receive Divine healing in 2017.

As in Numbers 20:17, You will pass through your enemies to your promised land in 2017.
As in Deut. 20:17, You will utterly destroy your enemies in the year 2017. 

As in Judges 20:17, You will be a man of war to conquer in this year 2017.

As in 1 Samuel 20:17, You will experience true love of God in the year 2017.

As in 2 Samuel 20:17, You will hear God speak to you and give you direction in 2017. 

As in 2 Chronicles 20:17, God will fight your battle in 2017.  And  

As in John 20:17, our God, the God Almighty will be your Father and your God. 

This year 2017, you will experience the Grace, the Mercy and the Favour of God in all your undertakings as you rely on Him.

One of my Goals for 2016 is to actively seek joy and happiness even when I face difficulties and challenges along the way. Hope and believe for many many many good days ahead. Joy and happiness seems an easy task and yet many fail to achieve that. 
My brothers and sisters, you will face all kinds of trouble. When you do, think of it as pure joy. Your faith will be put to the test. You know that when that happens it will produce in you the strength to continue. – James1:2-3 (NIVR)

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. – James1:2-3 (MSG)

  

Most of us know the meaning of joy and happiness so the reason I wrote definition is purely to revisit and ponder upon the words. As well as for the benefit of others who sadly never able to find joy and happiness yet.

Joy is a state of mind and an orientation of the heart. It is a settled state of contentment, confidence and hope. It is something or someone that provides a source of happiness. – Theopedia 

Webster’s dictionary definition: 1) to experience great pleasure or delight : REJOICE, 2) the emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune or by the prospect of possessing what one desires: DELIGHT. 

Hebrew dictionary definition: 8057. simchah, sim-khaw’; from H8056 blithesomeness or glee, (religious or festival):– X exceeding (-ly), gladness, joy (-fulness), mirth, pleasure, rejoice (-ing). 

Greek dictionary definition: 5479. chara, khar-ah’; from G5463; cheerfulness, i.e., calm delight:–gladness, X greatly, (X be exceeding) joy (-ful, -fully, -fulness, -ous).

 Joy depends the internal factors, something deep within while Happiness depends on external factors. 

Definition of Happiness is a state of well-being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy sense of well-being, joy, or contentment. Happiness is that feeling that comes over you when you know life is good and you can’t help but smile. It’s the opposite of sadness. When people are successful, or safe, or lucky, they feel happiness. The “pursuit of happiness” is something this country is based on, and different people feel happiness for different reasons. Whenever doing something causes happiness, people usually want to do more of it. No one ever complained about feeling too much happiness. -Vocabulary.com
  

You may think all these are so cliche. But at the end of the day, week, month, year and life, you still have to face you in the mirror and honestly ask yourself what you really really want short term and long term. You owe it to yourself to find real happiness because you are worth it. Happiness is a form of courage. When you express YES to happiness means learning to say NO to  the things and people that stress you out.  Choose to respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serve you, grow you or make you HAPPY. The wise Mandy Hale affirmed that “Happiness starts with you. Not with your relationship, your friends or your job. But with you.”

Peak or Pit still Thankful

“Many times the deepest disappointments yield the most beautiful fruit in our lives.

Christmas is drawing near. We are all so busy with so many festival activities and parties around this time of the year.  I hope in our busyness, we don’t forget the real meaning and Spirit of Christmas. 

Every year, I host a business & working sisters thanksgiving and Christmas party.  I will encourage them to share something they are thankful for the year.

Like my pastor claimed in the beginning of 2015 “You crown the year with Your goodness.” –Ps 65:11.  

Regardless 2015 is your peak or pit, you’re breathing and moving you have something to be thankful for. Be like the one out of ten that Jesus healed, came back and thank Him! Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?  Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” – Lk17:17-19  Let’s us give honour and appreciation when honour is due. “Do you owe respect? Then give it. Do you owe honour? Then show it.”- Rom13:7

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Ps100:4

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1Chron16:34 

Some of the sisters are thankful for a good year. Others are thankful that they are still here and standing even though it is a challenging & dramatic year! We are all grateful that God is with us in the pit and peak! There are plenty of laughter and a few teary eyes. This year each one receive a scented candle. The symbolic reason of a candlelight is a reminder they are the light in the world of darkness. So remember to shine for Jesus.

Good Day, Beautiful People!
Nothing is permanent in this world. The only constant things are God’s Love and changes.
Those of us who travel on this life journey for awhile bound to experience good and bad seasons. Some days in life seem more challenging than other days. You just need to take it as it comes. One day at a time. Even your feeling right now is temporary. So don’t let your feeling run your life. Enjoy the the good with the bad. Be thankful for the good times and challenging times. We learn valuable lesson during challenging time. We can choose to curl up like a ball and hide or choose to put on your spiritual armor, pick up your spiritual weapon and fight. Let your village of people who love you know to give you the support you need.
Adopt a good attitude, positive thinking and good opinion of God. Most brave people I encounter overcome challenging storms through this way has amazing great outcome. You can experience joy right here in the midst of real and even raw life.
