World Smile Day

Good Day,  Beautiful People!

2nd October 2015 was World Smile Day! Hope you had a good day.

Some people may say what is there to smile with bad news on the media and bad news around us or perhaps bad situation one is in at the present. We are encouraged to smile for many good reasons. I know there are days that bound to be sad, awful, blue, angry, upset and overwhelming to smile. We all experience those days, time and season. Acknowledge that feeling but don’t camp there. Be proactive to move to towards gratitude and find your inner joy. Tell someone you can trust or help you to get out of the pit. (Not talking about clinical depression that need professional help.)

Sharing with you this great writing:

 Dare to Be

When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.
When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.
When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.
When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.
When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.
When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.
When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.
When times are tough, dare to be tougher.
When love hurts you, dare to love again.
When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.
When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.
When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.
When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.
When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.
When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.
Dare to be the best you can
At all times, Dare to be! – Steve Maraboli  Book (Life, the truth and being free)

Here are some good reasons to smile. In fact you’re still breathing and able to read this is good enough reason to smile. People in the hospital beds, refugee camps, slums,  in bondage and war zone will gladly trade places with you.

Leave you this wisdom:

I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty. (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ NLT)

A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs‬ ‭17:22‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

My prayer those who read this today:
